- A couple of Bontebok will make their debut on the African Savanna, replacing Fringe-Eared Oryx (now both deceased)
- Butterflies in Flight will open in 2016 (near the Red Panda exhibit)
- A $3.3 million revamp of the Nocturnal House will be finalized and that "Night" exhibit will re-open in 2018
