Sorry, but the correct names are Lionel Messi and Fernando Torres ;) for me the BEST is David Villa, Amunt València! :D

If were talking current? Then half of these players should not be there.

Torres has to be the best out of the players named, Messi will be if he continues to develop.

As a football conniseure ;) i'd like to put forward an alternative shortlist for best forward (this way Ronaldo, Gerrard and Messi can be included) based on recent form.

- David Villa
- Diego Millito
- Didier Drogba
- Wayne Rooney
- Lionel Messi
- Samuel Eto'o
- Diego Forlan
- Cristiano Ronaldo
- Steven Gerrard

Honorable mentions to Amauri, Pato, Kaka, Grafite, Dzeko, Anelka, Adebayor (on a good day), Ibrahimovic, Klose and Henry.

not this season, they are "forwards" now.

Liverpool have Alonso and Mascherano in midfield with Gerrard in tandem with Torres.

Man United have had Ronaldo up front with Rooney and Giggs or Park on the wings on many occaisons such as the champions league semi final v Arsenal or the final v Barcelona.

Don't quite argee, Gerrard play an advanced role in support of Torres who is the main striker.

And Cat-man Rooney is a striker and best played up front just like Kuyt at Liverpool but their respective managers seem not to realise this :mad:

No, he doesn't no how to play upfront and spat his dummy out all game. He knows how to the play the wing or play support but to play like a lone striker he is clueless.

I perhaps could've worded that better...

What i meant to say was that Gerrard plays as a forward but plays just behind Torres (not like a traditional front 2)
