Would like to buy a zoo / safari park

Hi there,

I am hoping someone can help me?

We are looking to buy a small zoo / safari park / wildlife park - can be anywhere in the world but preferably somewhere beautiful and aspirational and lovely to live - could be the UK or could be abroad.

We're looking for somewhere that needs minimal work, if any, preferably with somewhere lovely to live on site, but this isn't a must?

Does anyone know of anywhere or could help me at all?

Well, if you are thinking of investing in a small zoo project. We are interested in opening a small facility here in Dubai. We have the connections in government, we have the land and now we are looking for the investor. Do you think it is interesting to you?

Hi Tommy,

This sounds really interesting, epsecially as it is in Dubai which would be fantastic, but I'm interested in buying a zoo that is already up and running, but thanks for the post!

No clue how much experience you have but if you want to buy a Zoo and you expect minimal work I guess you ll find a lot of disappointments. Especially if you have no experience in running a collection check out local small zoos, talk with the owner, see how much time (and money) they invest in their park and see if it's really what you want.

When I say minimal work I don't mean with regards to the day-to-day running of the zoo, I know how much work this is, what I mean is that there is minimal work needed doing to the facilities.
 
Animalarium - Borth - Unusual and Exotic Animals
This place in Wales was for sale, have no idea if it's still on the market or not but it may be something that you could look into. Needs quite a bit of work and doesn't have the best reputation (to say the least!) but somebody with money and experience could turn it around with dedication...
