This might be a bit off topic because I would also like to ask for personal accounts not just in relation zoos and aquariums, but also museums other sightseeing and, without getting political here, also general standard of life.
When I was younger, I used to think about moving within europe, not even for any particular reason.
My british neighbour used to talk about everything that was so great about england and I as a teenager used to sort of dream about how international the uk was compared to north west germany and the netherlands.
I naively thought the zoos and probably general life in uk to be a lot like northwestern europe, but was a bit confused when I saw the images of parks online. Being especialy irritated with the fact that there seemed to be a division of species kept, or rather not on the isle of great britain.
Even though I was able to gain an impression on zoos, I would like to ask what are the states of botanical gardens and museums in the uk?
How do they compare to continental europe?
I do not have any particular offer to be here or there, as privately I have still a bit time to choose, but even if just theoreticaly I wanted to politely ask.
(if I am correctly informed if such a possibility would arrrive the companies a family member would work for are stationed in the southern part of)
