I've never heard the word Tamarin in relation to anything other than a small South American primate. Or, with a 'd' on the end, an Asian fruit. But never for a fish.I must have made a mistake then.
Some species of Anampses are also called Tamarins, such as this one. interchangeable with wrasse.
I've always seen them as tamarin wrasses. I've never seen it left as tamarin.
It's been on hiatus since August.
