What is everyone's opinion on this collection?I visit quite frequently and do enjoy some of the exhibits such as the free roaming waterfowl,Flamingoes and the Asian Short Clawed Otters. It is also good for the large amount of wildlife that can be spotted throughout the year.

That's just what I think, feel free to share your opinions.

Especially around migration season as this may be the chance to see some rare species. There is a report that a Gull-Billed Tern arrived which has been one of five sightings this year and a first for Lancashire since 1995.

Little visit today with a small update.

White Storks are on show, arrived in June 2017.I counted five individuals but there could be more.
Three Asian Short Clawed Otter sisters are in the main enclosure.Mum and Dad have departed to other collections.
There were large Top Trumps for various species from the sections that I visited today.I saw the ASCO,Chilean Flamingo and Water Boatman today.

Photos are available in the gallery.
