Pioneer Park Wyoming’s One and Only Zoo

There has been some discussion on here how the state of Wyoming lacked any zoos. Well, believe it or not, there was one open for many years. Sheridan’s Pioneer Park operated from 1909 to 1971, maintaining mostly native animals, plus a few exotics like monkeys and ocelots. Here’s an article with some neat facts and a timeline:

Just a small note, the Pioneer Park tag is for a different place that's in Florida not Wyoming. Its actually called Hardee County Wildlife Refuge and its apparently still opened. Tag should probably have its name changed to that.
 
@SusScrofa Gotcha, thanks for the heads up. I wasn't 100% sure where to put this or create a whole different thread, but this seemed like the best fit when I came across it.

Is someone able to separate this thread from the facility please?
