On February 20th, the sanctuary announced they acquired (0.0.2) domestic sheep (breed(s) not specified) named Cotton and Marshmellow which are now on exhibit. On February 25th, the sanctuary announced they acquired another (0.0.1) domestic sheep (breed not specified) named S'mores, and is now on exhibit.

On April 17th, the sanctuary announced they acquired a (1.0) red-tailed boa named Baron who is now an animal ambassador.

On May 5th, the sanctuary announced that (0.0.2+?) Indian peafowl hatched.

On June 4th, 2024, the sanctuary announced that they acquired a (1.0) miniature horse named Cubbie which is on exhibit.

On December 1st the sanctuary officially named the bears Clover and Winnie/Winston.

On June 17th, 2024, the sanctuary opened a new North American river otter exhibit to the public, featuring (0.4) otters named Elise, Emma, Harper, and Jolie.

Just left the facility for the first time since they’ve added the wolves and otters, both of which were in very nice-looking enclosures that seemed like a great fit for the zoo. They also have a new groundhog which I hadn’t seen mentioned anywhere, but looking back they’ve posted about it on Facebook. It's in a corn crib cage, so definitely not ideal, but it was active and clearly gets to dig a lot so I think it’s probably pretty comfy with its setup. Also finally got to see the lynx for the first time.

On April 21st, 2025, the zoo announced they built a new outdoor exhibit for the sloths which is now open to the public.
