Dudley Zoological Gardens Yogi

[Red Panda]

Hi All

I visited Dudley Zoo yesterday, got there at 12.30pm after a long drive up from Southampton with the hope of seeing Yogi the baby red. However I only saw him briefly in his nest box and he never ventured out I was saddened by this.

Any one else had more luck seeing him?

On my last visit I was lucky enough to be able to say I watched and enjoyed Yogi for about 20 minutes just before feeding time it was around 1.50pm
He was very adventurous he was as you can see by the odd photograph ion the gallery very confident and even ventured off up the bank as the keeper tried to catch him
He eventually came back down and enjoyed the food layed out along the wooden climbing frame

Hi Red Panda,

I was at the zoo on Thursday and didn't see any of the panda's at all, so you were lucky to see a glimpse! Thankfully I have seeen them all before.
If you plan to go back do so soon as Yogi will be moving to a new home next year.
