I had better get my skates on tomorrow and get some photos on here quick sharp. Then again, if I take photos of some diggers in a field it will get more views
God I'm dreading being near the bears now,can't wait for the first thousand screams of "NOBBY,WHERES NOBBY!!" from the assorted sniggering kids. I wish they could re-name 3 out of the 4 polar bears to something more fitting.
Apparently, they think he's called Noddy, which is rather sweet I think. You should have gone today - it was brass monkey, so not many people about, plenty of excavators though

New pictures of construction and earthworks from last Sunday now on the gallery.
Can one of the great admin staff please sort out the page though. Its a little messed up and overlaid by adverts for some reason.

That's sad news. He was a real character.
Do you know if it was just old age? Maybe with a new young male hog there could be the patter of "hoglets" though.
Some new photos added to the gallery of all the construction taking place at the moment. There might even be some forklifts and cherry pickers in there too
Again,can the admin staff please have a look at why the adverts down the RHS are blocking out the titles and viewing count. Or maybe its just me that's having trouble?
I may add some actual photos of animals later too.
It's because some of the photos haven't uploaded properly, so where the thumbnail should be there's the image title in a photo box, which in turn is breaking the column layout and pushing the text behind the ads. (which means it only affects the page those 'images' are on, so once they get pushed to page 2 the problem will disappear from page 1)
Yep - will be affecting everyone - it used to happen a lot more when there were major gallery problems. If the mods delete the post it should sort itself out - if you report the posts I'm sure someone will have a look.
I was also lead to believe that a male Hunting dog had arrived,but the keeper I saw said it was news to her!! I didn't see one anyway.
Attended the hunting dog talk yesterday. There are a male and two females in the main exhibit. The lowest ranked female is separated and awaiting moving on.

Their Facebook page has a 'photo' with 4 polar bears in one enclosure. Have they all been put together for a trial, or are YWP messing with our heads with a little photoshoppery?
It looks as if they are all together.
Have they got 4 bears now? If so it looks pretty genuine to me. Maybe in that case if they complete all four enclosures this size (as was planned originally) they could have 16 bears- or maybe they won't build all the enclosures now....
