Maned wolf pup photographed by an eagle eyed visitor today (photo on one of the fan FB pages). Another great breeding success for the park.
Shepreth Wildlife Park had a litter in December 2021 (1:1), but you are right that this is not a common occurrence in the UK so very good news!I've seen a picture of two pups on a Facebook group today - VERY exciting news!! Maybe I'm wrong here but I don't recall hearing of many Maned Wolf births in the UK so this is wonderful!

Is Vlad dead?does anyone know if the park plans to bring in a new male tiger to replace vlad after his death

Can the two girls not live together?Hiya.
I did the carnavour experience in Oct and asked. They have the 2 big enclosures and the cubbing pen (small enclosure), so they can't get a new male as if it can't live in the same enclosure as one of the 2 girls there's no room for them all.
No they hate each other, one would die.Can the two girls not live together?

Her name is Kristen and she is now alternating between the the two main enclosures. Very pretty.New female Amur Leopard joining the park soon as mentioned on YWP Instagram page. Very exciting news and hopefully Drake will be able to father some more cubs.

It’s with deep sadness that we announce the sudden death of Rafiki, our male Roloway monkey. This loss is devastating news for both Yorkshire Wildlife Park and for the European breeding program. Rafiki’s legacy will continue through his offspring, Kumasi and Dassioko who will carry on doing their bit to save this Critically Endangered species.
