If lions where to come from Knowsley, i presume they would be the males, as they have 10 to get rid of. It may be the 5 castrated males that are due to go?

They didn't own it, they worked there.
And no lions in the near future, the big cats such as lions and tigers are set for later on in the development, like a few years ahead.
The african hunting dogs should be here by the end of March.
They are going to try and do parrot shows etc but they wont have the birds of prey anymore, although maybe in the future because its impossible to have birds of prey and keep a free ranged theme to it.

There might be a parrot show but there are no plans for seals. Theres no sea creatures at all.
Plus the shows are actually sea lions not seals,
but they have no where suitable to keep sea lions

Parrot and seal are a company now named APAB limited, they provide trained animals for shows and demonstrations. I was not refering to them having seals or sea lions i just meant are they getting that company to do the shows.

Oh sorry ^^

No i dont think so. I think they will actually be getting the keepers and even the animal care/land and environment students to do it.

well kind of. Most of the animals theyre getting are african.
Ostridges, ancole cattle, african hunting dogs, madagascan ring tailed lemurs, brown lemurs, black and white ruffed lemurs, macaws, zebra soon after the opening hopefully and in the near future, hopefully some hippos

The ankole cattle and the ostridges are together at the moment, and all the lemurs are going into into the woods together but i think theyre putting more together, not sure though

I visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park today. It all seemed new and 'in progress' but it's a good start and all the visitor comments seemed positive. The lemurs were very much in evidence enjoying the sun and entertaining people. The African plains animals were very sparse and distant but there's a path that's not open yet that will allow better viewing and they are not all in their final homes.

I hope it all goes well because I'm delighted to have something like this in easy travelling distance. I've uploaded a few pictures.
