You might belong or be on zoochat if...

-You hate when people are ignorant of people being animals.

-You spend more time obsessing about Swamp Wallabies at a themepark than most people do in the whole zoo.

-You prefer to watch a documentary on a Zoo/ obscure animal than Downton Abbey.

-You wish they would let you take Bludgeons into zoos to wack annoying children and their parents with.

-Whenever you visit somewhere you think how to make into a zoo (literally anywhere).

-You have dreams about visiting a zoo.

-You spend more time looking for an obscure pheasant, than you do at the Meerkats, Tigers, Lions, Wallabies, Lemurs and Baboons combined.

-You worry before visiting that you won't fit everything in.

-When at Animal talks you know everything and know when the keeper is wrong.

-When at Animal talks, when they ask if their are any questions, you want to know about the animals history, how much they use parts of their enclosure, etc.

-If your google search history is filled with Zoo websites and other zoo related stuff.

I have the same one as the last one :p

I would say that these points in particular are quite sufficient to guarantee you exclusion from the usual 'under 14's' category as mentioned above.;)

- When you hate children who block your camera when you want a decent shot

- Know when a Keeper is wrong on his facts

- When you've seen Baird's tapir in Mexico (Xcaret)

- Always visit your zoo twice a month

- When you're disappointed when your epic road trip is moved to August before school starts

- When you know the most about animals in your family

- Head over to the sun bears when everyone's obsessing over the pandas :p

- Always correct someone when they're wrong.

You don't actually have to do all these things to belong here: you just have to understand the temptations involved: you deserve bonus points if you can resist them ;)

- Always correct someone when they're wrong.

This tends to be very widespread among ZooChatters as a whole, not just concerning zoos either! :p Just look at some of the pedantic moments we've had on here in the past regarding, well, pretty much everything! ;)

It only gets worse when you have a bunch of us in a social setting... :D

I have to correct you on that you on that, you hate children at the zoo entirely :p;):D

One of my favorite things about being a college student: once my classes are over, I can visit the zoo in the middle of a weekday. Not many people there, and almost no kids. It's magical.

You lie awake at night wondering if it really is true that odd and even toed ungulates don't share a clade after all and that odd toed ungulates are instead more closely related to bats, and pangolin, and carnivores.

WHAT ?? Didn't know that - this will give me a sleepless night ;) !

You will be lying awake tonight wondering if the Elephants resident at San Diego can tell there are suddenly two new Elephants in the quarantine area and if they will be disappointed when they move on without being introduced.
