Sunday 25th April 2010 12.30, 20 people, pay as normal meet at the entrance,walk and talk for a few hours.
This is your chance to ask Tim Rowlands the Zoo`s Curator of Mammals,the questions you want answering in person.To confirm your place please send me a PM but please only send me one if you can definitely attend on this day.

ZG, this sounds like agreat opportunity for zoochat members, for those of us unable to make it, can we send questions to be answered on our behalf?

I would live to come but need to check if i can get day off work. is there much interest so far? how quickly is it getting booked up?

That is a shame ZG, sounds like a fantastic chance to have a personal guided tour, that is specifically for zoo enthusiasts.
 
I will confirm asap. Is there a minimum number of interested people to make this viable? I hope not. I did keeper for the day a few years back, and as well as all the interaction with the animals, it was just so useful to be able to talk to the staff about future develoments and get some real inside info. etc. Who has arranged this 'tour'anyway?

This is not a tour as such as much I chance to walk about the zoo and ask Tim the questions about Chester that you would like answering,as for who`s arranged this its me at Tim`s request.
 
As just confirmed in PM, I shall be there.
 
Well we have now reached the dizzy heights of 3 confirmed people that have sent me a PM,and 1 that said he`s attending but still hasn`t sent me a PM.

Please can I state again if you want to attend you do have to send me a PM to confirm that you are attending because if you don`t YOU WILL NOT BE ALOUD TO JOIN THE WALK.

I'm sure there are lots of us, miles away from Chester, reading this with envy and wishing it would happen at our local zoos!
