Your Favorite Animated Films

Well actually the opening shot of the African sunrise is the only live-action footage in the film.
 
I enjoy most animated films, I really like the 2D style especially.
Lion king. (Obviously)
Beauty and the beast.
Bambi.

And My absolute favorites:
Fantasia.
Fantasia 2000.
 
My favourite animated movie is definitely "A Silent Voice" by Kyoto Animation. A very emotional and beautifully animated film.

For anyone interested in watching it, it is on Netflix but I am not sure if it is dubbed over in English or if it is subtitled with the original Japanese audio. Also, I only watched it subtitled so I am unsure if any dub if it exists is any good.

Seriously though, it is a great movie.
 
Definetely the older Disney movies (Especially Lion King and Beauty & the Beast), but I also really liked the Spiderverse movies.

I just watched The Tale of the Princess Kaguya last night and it has instantly become my favorite animated movie of all time. Words cannot fathom how beautiful this movie is: the animation is stunning, the story is so heartfelt and the ending left me with my jaw on the floor for a good 30 seconds into the credits. I'm not much of a crier, but this one nearly got me. It's both tragic and joyful all at once, an embodiment of what it means to be human. I'd love to say more, but I encourage everyone to give it a watch for themselves as it is triumph from start to finish.

I do have many other animated favorites: Kiki's Delivery Service, Kung fu Panda, Shrek, Spiderverse, Spirted Away, Toy Story, Up, etc. However, no movie has ever left me with a feeling of shock and awe more than this one.
