My recent favourite has been Magical by Ed Sheeran… and it’s a song which has been out two days
 
There's only one song, and it's perfect for all the members constantly zoo visiting, On the road again by Canned Heat (the first live band I saw back in 1970)
 
In my personal music taste, I like indie music a whole lot, mainly due to one indie pop band that deserves to have their music heard more by people like me:

Japanese Breakfast. I first discovered them back in November of last year and never stopped listening to them ever since.

My favorites from them are:

-Heft
-Everybody Wants to Love You
-The Body is a Blade
-Savage Good Boy
-Posing for Cars
-Boyish
-Road Head
-Triple 7
-Better the Mask

Normally, these songs would be nice to listen to whenever you’re taking it easy, but once you’re on an aquarium trip, you know it’s more than just a trip as a whole; It’s a moment to be grateful for the ocean life that lives around us, and to appreciate the sea life that we are all working together to protect.

And believe me, I know you guys will love it even if some of you know very little about indie music.

 
Saw Metallica play Fight Fire With Fire at SoFi stadium in LA, one on my favorites. And sure enough, they uploaded the video to their channel a few weeks ago so I get to relive that moment :p

Hello.
Currently, my favourite song is Perfeição, by Legião Urbana.

This song is an ironic commentary on the main problems affecting Brazil, whether in 1993, when the song was released, or now, thirty years later.

My dad also loves this song. It's one of his favourites. Perhaps, I have inherited both his and my mom's taste in music, and that's why I'm saddened by the current state mainstream music finds itself in.
 
I love Elvis Presley. Even tho I was never around when he was alive, I love his music.

I'm personally a huge fan of Nerdcore music, especially by the likes of Dan Bull or JT Music.

Such as Tune into the madness and My uncle works in a dinosaur factory by Dan Bull, or Song for Daisy and Would you kindly by JT Music.

However, I have a very varied tastes and there's a lot of different songs that show up in my playlists. The HTTYD soundtrack, some showtunes, Metal covers of Disney songs (Mainly by Jonathan Young) and a lot of songs that I couldn't even name the style of

Interesting perspective. Although there is a lot of mainstream pop I can't stand from the last decade a lot of the critically acclaimed artists are fantastic, and lean heavily into the 80s and 90s dance scenes for their inspiration.

Would you mind recommending me some modern classical music to try out?

I don't really like most music from last century either to be perfectly honest, but I still find it bearable. As for modern classical music, I would recommend Steven Price, Patrick Doyle and similar.
