Definitely worth a listen to them. Yeah he and his family were so hilarious watching them in The Osbornes, with their day to day life didnt seem monotonous because their banter and humour always made it seem fun, Sharon and Kelly were so funny too. But yeah 'Sabbath defintiely worth listening to especially their first three albums. Read Ozzy's auto-bio' years ago, was a good read too.

I agree, I preferred their first albums. I bought their first album in 1970 and went to see them when i 15 years old, for the first time at Birmingham town Hall later that year. Although, I had seen several bands before them,including Led Zep,I was amazed how" heavy " they were, I loved it! Mind you, my ears were still ringing two days later LOL
 
I recently listened to some Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath songs again, such a great and still relevant musical legacy.

  • Leonard Cohen - Anthem
 
One song I have gotten back into listening regularly in the last few months, which I can probably consider my current favorite, is "Rhinestone Cowboy" by Glen Campbell in 1975. One of the calm and relaxing old songs from just before the disco music peak (I personally really hate the loud and intense disco music, relaxing, quieter, less-intense music is the best music in my opinion and this one does just that.)

Also love "Brazil" by Declan McKenna, the lyrics are so fire and it has massive replay value.

Hold up how did I not see this before? Do you like any artist in particular? I am not well versed in the songs from the 80s despite being Turkish myself so I only know “basic” artists like Zeki Müren, Barış Manço, MFÖ, and Cem Karaca.

Anyways my main reason for returning to the thread is that I feel less embarrassed about sharing my taste in music and I just want to share something. I have been listening to “Die in Shanghai” by Las Aves a lot this year. Other songs I found this year which I enjoyed listening to are:

  • “Apricots” by Findlay
  • “Johanna” by Suki Waterhouse
  • “Taj Mahal” by BRONCHO
  • “VHS” by videoclub
and these are songs I found before that I love listening to again:

  • “Pelicans We” by Cosmo Sheldrake
  • “Life itself” by Glass Animals
  • “Useless” by Omar Apollo
  • “Sweet Sun” by Milky Chance
  • “Aglow by The Rare Occasions
  • “Were Before” by Cults
and more.

I don’t consider myself a fan of any particular genre. I do find myself enjoying popular music, but the music I especially enjoy are usually the ones that hive me images on my mind of stampedes, flocks of birds, swinging simians and much more. I love to imagine different gatherings of animals, which otherwise can’t or won’t interact with each other, walking around in a ring formation, similar to a carousel.
