Monarto Safari Park Zinzi the lion

They have to unfortunately euthanise Zinzi due to an ongoing health issue, the link has a video about it on Adelaide Zoo's site.

They really do need to breed their lions again to increase the population because with the passing of Zinzi they are back to their starting number (6).

Other lion deaths in the past six months include:

- Jespah a female lion from Werribee, who had to be euthanased on Tuesday following a deterioration in her severe arthritis.

- Her sister Gopah (also at Werribee) was euthanized four months ago.
