Zoo animals in my backyard

I would be interested to hear about. People who have animals that are runing free in there backyard. That zoos place in exhibits.

My list

Magpie
rats
mice
Blue tounged lizzards
skinks
butterflys
Cockatoos
Rosellas
Galahs
Brush tailed possums
ring tailed possums
Red back spiders.
Huntsman spiders

This list is actually longer than l thought. There are also more l am sure l am missing!

There is a zoo concept called NOZOO. Where the animal comes to a viewing point for the public to see. Maybe we are allot closer to this than first thought!!

It's funny seeing a list from another country Blackduiker and being jealous that I've seen two of the animals on your list and then thinking how people might be jealous of what's on my list.

I see these animals frequentley:-

Superb Fairy Wrens
Tawny Frogmouths
Sulphur Crested Cockatoos
Galahs
Crested Pigeons
Rosellas
Lorikeets
Australian Magpies
Possums
Zebra Finches
Red Foxes
Black Swans
Australian Ibis
Two types of spoonbill that I can't name
Australian Pelicans
Blue Tongue Lizards
Some sort of little skink
Swamphens

And I see these animals seasonaly or not very often:-
Tiger Snakes
Kangaroos and Wallabys
Echidnas
Some sort of big monitor
Water Rats

Indeed, although we do apparently have some wild big cats... ;
 
I've got Prickly Stick Insects (Acanthoxyla geisovii) in my garden in Paignton.
(These stick insects first arrived in Paignton as eggs on plants imported from New Zealand 100 years ago.)

sad thing is I have pets which some zoos have!!!

giant cockroaches, giant african land snails, sabah spiny insects, thai stick insects and cardinal tetras!! whipee!
