During my visit, I got to speak to a keeper and he mentioned that Zoo Atlanta like San Diego most likely will be getting another pair of Giant Pandas at some point after the current animals return to China. He didn't say when this happen as apparently talks are ongoing.

also, does the zoo still have Bontebok? I didn't see it or any signage for it during my visit

That's good to hear. I can see myself going back to Atlanta in the future and would like to see them again.

They had them/one in July when I was there. I can't remember if there was signage or not.

I didn't see the bontebok or its signage in September, for what that's worth, but I also don't recall if it ever got signage to begin with.

On December 15th, the zoo announced that (0.0.5) guira cuckoos hatched which are on exhibit.
