If your counting a red panda born last June who must be almost grown shouldnt you count Gladys? Sure shes a year old but she is still clearly a baby. Of course maybe the first birthday is the cut off for your list and then she wouldnt count and come June the red panda cub wont either.

Oh the silly zoo. Gladys is still so adorable and small. Tons of people will come just to see her.

It's a girl!.... again. The baby Masai giraffe that was born at 4:30 this morning was just recently discovered to be a female. This is the 3rd female giraffe born in a row and the zoo's 3rd giraffe birth in 3 years (April 1, 2011, October 12, 2012, April 28, 2014). The parents are Tessa, and Kimba and they can be seen at Giraffe Ridge.

Two Gouldian Finches have hatched on January 17th, and March 18th and can been seen in Wings of the World.

The zoo is now acknowledging Gladys as a zoo baby again. Her "Zoo Babies" profile cardboard cutout was placed outside of Gorilla World today.
