The Tuatara at Berlin are notoriously impossible to see iirc.

Meanwhile at the Dallas Zoo on both visits I have seen all three. It’s not a massive exhibit although they can definitely hide from the public if they want. Maybe I was lucky though (although Berlin’s exhibit is better and larger).
On my last two visits at Berlin zoo, I've seen the Tuataras on the morning. I believe they feed them around 9:00.
And now Chester's have been moved so it is a lot harder to see them in Europe now!
Sadly. Chester's previous enclosure was undoubtedly the best in a public institutions outside of New Zealand itself and despite being spacious and providing plenty of burrowing room/substrate, at least some of the animals were always visible.

Male Indian Rhino ‘Karl’ has died
The new 'Pagode' exhibit - which the zoo is building at this moment - will house Indian rhino, so there's a future for this species in the zoo.
Did the Tierpark rhinos not transfer over?
They did, mother and son, in 2019 (after the transfer of 0,2 to Dierenrijk).

Half October a 1 year-old male Okapi (Okapia johnstoni) arrived from Wilhelma Zoo. Zoo Berlin now has 1.1 Okapis.

Recently a 12-year old male Crocodile monitor (Varanus salvadorii) arrived from Zoo d'Amnéville, he can be found in the Aquarium.

Three mandrils (Aron, Susan, Arthur) passed away in September. According to the Robert Koch institute, the animals died from botulism. The remaining survivor, 0.1 Shaba, will be sent to Fréjus. Mandrills won’t be displayed for a while due to the planned construction work on the Monkey house. I wasn’t able to understand the rest of the post due to botched translation by the translation engine.

The only thing else stated there is that they probably got infected with the bacteria because they ate a wild mallard, whose body the keepers found in the enclosure. The surviving female was the lowest in the hierarchy and didn't get to eat any of it. Also, she's already 26 years old.

For the first time since 2004 a pair of Nepalese red pandas (Ailurus fulgens) can be found in Zoo Berlin. Recently red pandas Tabea and Maurice arrived at the modernised predator house, which is scheduled to reopen next spring.

In July atleast 3 European scaups (Aythya marila marila) hatched.
In July 2 were Eastern Atlantic harbour seals (Phoca vitulina vitulina) born.
On the 27th of June a Western eurasian griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus fulvus) hatched.
Since August African clawed frogs (Xenopus laevis) can be found in the Aquarium.

There's also one of the dwarf clawed frog species on display in the invertabrate section of the aquarium, unfortunately I'm not sure what species. It's not yet on ZTL.

The oldest polar bear in Europe, Katjuscha has died. The Zoo no longer holds this species, however, it is unknown if they will acquire anymore in the future.
There won't be any more polar bears at the Zoo.
