United Kingdom Zoo Chat community get together.

Yes, if you could move the date back to the end of October, then I might be able to attend (if you can stand listening to an American accent). Would probably need to be in London, though. I will land in London on afternoon of Saturday, October 24, so could do it that night. Then I'm off to Paris but back in London from evening of Wednesday, October 28 through morning of Saturday, October 31.

Of course, I don't expect everyone to arrange their schedule around my trip. Just thought I would mention it on the chance that it works out.
 
I think different UK gatherings in different regions would work well for the British Zoochatters on here so no vast distances need to be traversed if this is wanted. For example:

Scotland: Edinburgh
Northern Wales/England: Chester
South Wales/Midlands: Twycross
West England: Paignton
Southern England: Marwell
Eastern England: London

These are just ideas for possible meet-ups by the way.
 
Saturday 3rd or Sunday 4th October 2009. Chester UK.

This is the date that we have started with from the start. For me its the date that works. It is also the same date as the Bartlett society meet. Just by chance! So it seems a good date to be at Chester.

Probably best meeting up outside as it will be easier for Zooman to find us, as hes coming from down under to meet all us nice people ;)

I wish I didn't have such an active mind! That's almost the start of having regional UK Zoo Chat Groups, possibly with quarterly get togethers and then a big annual get together at a different zoo each year for UK wide! Or is that my mind racing away again?

It is unlikely that l will be travelling to the UK in October. It is a finacial thing dam IT!!

My apolagies to anyone this may have caused any inconvenience to.

Thats a shame but with how the world economy it is not a surprise,hope to meet you at sometime in the future.

Well thats not a bad idea :)

What about having a regional representative that sorts out dates and accomadation?.
 
Well I'm planning on going to Chester again at the end of the summer holidays.

For those who wish a meet sooner rather than later...

im up in chester the whole of next week, but im busy coz doing the kunior member summer school thing XD
 
I'm going to Mallorca on Tuesday the 11th and get back late on Tuesday the 25th. So some point after then, perhaps.
 
Just found this thread and would be very interested in coming along if it's still going ahead. Satudays are not a good day for me but I could easily do the sunday. :)
