Jurques communicated about the news for spring 2026 :
Arrival of Kirk's dik-diks (Madoqua kirkii), a new species, who will live together with the African spurred tortoises (Centrochelys sulcata).
Arrival of a new species, the Visayan warty pig (Sus cebifrons). It is a nice addition to the zoo.
Arrival of vicuñas (Lama vicugna) and Darwin's rheas (Rhea pennata) on the south american plain.
New building for lemurs and welcomes a new species : the black lemur (Eulemur macaco).
Construction of a new building for the lar gibbons (Hylobates lar) and expansion of their island.
It's good to see the zoo developing every year with nice additions.
There was talk of a second park on 8 hectares owned by the zoo, but the project was abandoned. I don't know if they plan to expand the park onto these 8 hectares.
