Zoo design software

Hi all,,

Not completely sure if this thread should be here or under 'fantasy zoos' or 'games'... but I was wondering which software is usually used to design zoos or exhibits, either by professionals or enthousiasts. I can imagine a lot of you already are 'amateur zoo designers' but maybe some people have insight in software that's also used on professional basis, for instance for landscape architecture etc.

I have experinecw ith sketch up, but it's primarily good for straight forms and buildings. I'm particulary interested in software that can be used for master planning, for instance this plan from the Forth Worth zoo, to give an example. It would be nice if there is some easy-to-use or not too expensive software available but I imagine complex designs require complex software ;-)

All input welcome!

The best designers I know hand draw and then give it to an associate to recreate in REVIT. Everything these days has to be compatible with REVIT so that the other professionals (civil engineers, architects, landscape designers, structural engineers, etc.) can easily collaborate. The REVIT drawing is then used with other software to produce images like this.
