The zoo now hosts a total of 8 meeekats (a group of five and the other of three) which are hosted in some cages near to the farm.
Some fishes have been added into the Amphibiarium, and some tadpoles are also present.
 
Surprising news: a pair of jaguars has just arrived.

It's the first pair in Italy after years, as the last pair of jaguars in Italy were at Pistoia Zoo but they stopped with the species in 2015 because of the small size of the enclosure and the impossibility to renovate it....

There is still a very old female (22yo) at Murazzano Zoo in an awful enclosure...

According to the instagram of Il Denaro, the male is 1,5 years old and the female 2. They also mention that the female is melanistic.

It has been years since I last visited the Zoo. However (even though my interest in zoos has decreased) sometimes I still give a look to the Zoo's site and map to look for new species and improvements.
So here we are:

As you probably know, there are now a pair of Jaguars, which are hosted in the exhibit adjacent to the one for the Leopards. But news don't end here.

The South-American exhibit now hosts not only a Tapir, maras and capybaras, but also rheas and guanacoes, which is cool, even though the exhibit still looks the same as it was five years ago.

The Little Mammals area, that consists of a series of cages and small aviaries, hosts civets and genets (and one of these two species even had babies, but I don't remember which one).

A new Primate Area has been opened nest to the Great Lake. There are four species:
Tufted Capuchin
Chacoan Mara
Common Marmoset
Bearded Capuchin

The Bengal Owl has now some new companions: indian hystrixes.

The "Parrot Hallway", behind the Reptile House, now hosts more parrot species and even scarlet ibises.

The Reptile House should host a group of african weavers, but this is old news and they are not listed in the zoo's site.

The Australian Exhibit has been moved inf ront of the Elephants.

The African Aviary has now, along with de brazza's monkeys and other birds, African spoonbills.

In the Savanna common nyalas have been added, which is nice.

The site also lists african hystrixes and a particular type of English sheep

Seems like the zoo wants to get back to its glorious days, it's nice to see historic zoos making a comeback
 
Lyle's Flying Foxes have arrived.
They are hosted in the Reptile House, more precisely in the crocodile exhibit (probably there is something that separate them from the crocodile).
In the same area there were parrots till some weeks ago but I don't know If they have been moved.
