Hi My son and I are zoo enthusiasts from the UK and are considering a day and night in Gyor, so that we can visit zoo Gyor. Is it easy to get to the zoo from the train station?

We will need to travel back to Bratislava, are there frequest transport links between the cities.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi,

you can go to the zoo easy from train station: by the bus Nr. 8 from Városháza (City Hall) bus stop to Xantus János Állatkert (Xantus Zoo) bus stop you can go directly. This bus run appr. every half hour.
I also looked the train schedules, but I don't see directly connect between Győr and Bratislava...
