I was driving down the M5 today, minding my own business, when I spotted a huge Chester Zoo poster on a hoarding (billboard in American English) beside the motorway just before Junction 2 - featuring a T rex and the 'Dinosaurs Bite Back' slogan. Interestingly it is only visible from the southbound carriageway, heading away from Chester. Of course this is the Junction that visitors to Dudley Zoo will use if they approach from the north; in addition Junction 3, a couple of miles further south, could be used by visitors to West Midlands Safari Park. When I checked the distances on the RAC website, this hoarding is 81 miles away from Chester Zoo following the fastest route.
Has anyone else spotted Chester Zoo posters beside routes to other zoos? Is this a world record for the hoarding site furthest away from the zoo concerned?
This could become a new game for ZooChatters touring the world
