San Diego Zoo Zoo Holidays in San Diego

I am interested in visiting San Diego, obviously the zoo and Sea World, and would like to know if there are any 'organised' holidays I could take?

What I'm after is a package holiday (if thats the right term) where everything is organised with an itinerary, like, day one we visit Sea World, day two is Sea World, etc

Does anyone have any experience of this sort of thing, or any other suggestions i.e., hotels, etc)?

I travel alone so going on an organised holiday would be better for me

I don't think you'll find an organised tour but the zoo and SeaWorld are within the city and easily accessible. You may be able to get to San Diego Safari Park on public transport but if you have a car it's an easy drive. While I was there I also visited the Living Desert zoo but I doubt you could do that without a car.
 
I would also recommend visiting the Safari Park, it can be done on public transport but not easily - a rental car would be better.

I don't know if there are organised tour packages available, but as Ned said the Zoo and Sea World are very easy to get to on public transport.

If you are after a more social holiday, you could try staying at an Airbnb property where hosts are also staying. You could also ask on ZooChat if any members from San Diego would be interested in showing you around their local zoos.
