Unfortunately female Indian sloth bear offspring (SUBODH x RACHANA, both born in India) died after 2 days.

Purple-naped lorys arrived.

The little elephant bull is doing fine, he is allowed to drink milk from his mother. Unfortunately his mother HOA is not really interested in him. The zoo hopes that his " aunts" RANI and DON CHUNG, friends of his mother, will protect him.

Female Black-and-gold howler monkey MERYL (born at Twycross Zoo) died from a kidney disease. 1,2 of her offspring with wild born male KIKO (died in 2018) are still at the zoo.

Female Eastern black rhinoceros NANDI (* 1999 in Leipzig) will leave the zoo next week to live and breed in a zoo in the UK.
