Zoo restaurants with windows onto enclosures

Fresno-Chaffee Zoo's Kopje Lodge looks out onto their African field exhibit, but specifically has a side window that looks directly into the lion habitat.

The savanna restaurant at Zoo Antwerpen has big windows with a nice view into the savanna aviary with Cape buffalos and a variety of African bird species.

Those seats are popular though so to get one of those you have to go there on a quiet day, get lucky or go and have lunch earlier or later than the average visitor lunch time.

At Antwerp Zoo, there are views from a new restaurant into the Savannah aviary with cape buffalos and a lot of birds, and on the other side, into the gorilla exhibit.

If tropical halls are included, Burgers' Zoo offers a place to eat in the Bush (rainforrest) usually you're kept company by several bird species. Some I've seen while eating; crowned pigeons, nicobar pigeons, red-rumped caciques and a few more as well as the occasional flying fox.

Dublin Zoo has a large window at one end of their restaurant with a view into the meerkat outdoor enclosure.

Zoo Tampa's Savannah Oasis Grill has windows that overlook the giraffe, elephant, zebra and impala yards.

Bioparque La Reserva (a small zoo near Bogota, Colombia) offers very tasty made to order dining with a large glass viewing of their rescued Ocelot, who coincidentally had feeding time at the same time as me.

Oklahoma City Zoo: Sanctuary Asia has the Lotus Pavilion, their large two-level restaurant. From it you can see a few of the exhibits, like the rhinos and the elephants, and one wall looks right into one of the Komodo dragon habitats.

Bali zoo's cafe is on the same level as, and separated from the Asiatic lions by a large window

The Bear's Den Cafe at Buttonwood Park Zoo has windows that look out onto the American bison and waterfowl exhibit.

There's some distance between them, but African Lion Safari's Mombasa Market is next to the African Queen exhibit, with black-handed spider monkeys being the closest if I remember.

Louisville Zoo's Columbus Crossing has viewing from its African Outpost.
