On July 8th, the zoo announced they rescued 2 Florida manatees which are now at their critical care center.

On July 13th, the zoo announced that 3 roseate spoonbills hatched which are on display in the Florida Wilds area.

The entire manatee building is closed for renovations, forcing people to turn around at the stingrays in the south and the alligators in the north. Otters are also off exhibit due to the renovations.....we can hope they are renovating that concrete exhibit while they do the manatees.
