A really good download that someone could make would be a sliding door to shift animals on and off exhibit

I already amke them with tank walls, but I think it would just be easier if someone made a sliding door you could place yourself

To open it, you could just go up to it and press space bar

Another great dowload would be those cable fences they use for elephant exhibits (There using them in Pachyderm Forest)

I like the look of them and trhey make for great viewing

The sliding door would be great. Hopefully someone could make it in the future.

Mstickmanp do you know about when you can get the rock fences? I want them soooooo badly but don't know when I get promoted to get exclusive downloads.
 
Does anyone know where I could download extra large maps for zoo tycoon 2?

you download your file
extract it
and just search through the files until you find one
and copy it into ur zootycoon folder.
 
Do you need them for designing?

Or are you just having problems with downloading.

How to access Zt2. files that come in the game.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Copy the text bellow into the search box that comes up.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\downloads\zootycoon_com_zt2_1033

This is where all of your downloaded files will go to. I will explain as an example for the Large Aviary at Aviaries (2) (Zeta-Designs). Click download then get the file onto your desktop. If you are using firefox then right click and click open. The Zt2. file will come up. Then copy and paste this into the folder which opened earlier that I told you about. Start Zoo Tycoon 2 and there you have it. It will usually show up for some reason the beatiful birds pack doesn't show up for me :(. Hopefully this help. I tried to give as much detail as possible. It's not showing up in the game because what you have installed it's not the .zt2 file. Go look for the .zt2 file here: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2\downloads\ZTW
 
do you know how to download your file?

find your file select download, dephends on the site how you do it

to extract something right click on the zipped file (zipped files have a zip on them) a select extract all

depends on where you get it from depends where the .z2f file is, but the easiest way to do it is using the search function on ur computer (if your on XP it will be on the start menu) and search ".z2f" in the file where you download.

than cut+paste it into your zoo tycoon 2 folder.
 
Catman I just put a detailed descripition on how to download and mstickmanp did too. So look at that first.
