Zoo Tycoon Zoo Tycoon 2?

The aviary link didn't work for me. Does anyone have that file they could send me?
 
Thanks Markun. :) I was just curious if any of you are willing to take the time and effort to recreate a real zoo on the game. :)
 
I've been a Zoo Tycooner since it came out in 2001 and have all the games. Its extremely addictive and I am as well glad that im not the only one making holding areas
 
Zoogoer your not the only one believe me! I make holding areas, off exhibit yards, maternity dens!
 
Well I'm playing ZT2 atm and I started to replicate the Indo-Malayan Area. I got the Indian Rhino, Malayan Tapir, and instead of Lion-Tailed Macaques I used Colobus Monkeys that look fairly alike. I'm building the Sumatran tigers exhibit

The designer of that site has a new website but I think is redeveloping the aviary. In the meantime it can be found at zootycoon.nl

@Flixox101, I have thought of that but I'm too much of a perfectionist and would get frustrated if I can't get it absolutely right, especially with the lack of buildings in zoo tycoon. I guess I could do something ispired by a specific zoo.

I have only attempted to do it once (based on Chester) and only managed to get half of it done because the largest blank grass map wasn't large enough
 
You could do half on one map and half on another. Frustrating because you can't 'walk' between the two but the next best thing I guess.
 
Someone should do the Toronto Zoo; It's difficult cuz most of the animals are indoors, it will be even more difficult to replicate the layout of the pavilions. But if someone is willing to attempt to build/replicate a zoo should post pics once they are done. :) GL and thx. Jimmy if your interested in puttin pics up of the Chester Zoo that would be awsome even if it's half. :)

Oh trust me, i've tried many times but in the end the maps just aren't big enough
 
Well I remade the front entrance, Lion-Tailed Macaque (Colobus Monkey), Indian Rhino Paddock, Malayan Tapir, and the Tapir/Rhino House. I would gladly put some pics up, but do i just use print screen? Not sure.

Here you go ZooGoer;

if it is an .exe file, just download the .exe to your documents. Once it has been downloaded, double click the .exe to run the installation programme and follow the instructions in that. The installation programme creates the .z2f file and there should be an option of where you want the .z2f file saved. It needs saving to the Zoo Tycoon 2 folder in your program files (C: > programme files > microsoft games > zoo tycoon)

If it is already a .z2f file when you download it, just save straight to the Zoo Tycoon 2 folder.

n.b when you download, it may be in a zip file. Just save the zip file to a folder in your documents (I used one named ZT2) and copy the relevant file inside it to the correct location (the zoo tycoon folder)
 
Ok, I'm want to start making my own animals. Could somebody give me a list of easy instructions? (I don't have WINRAR- is that a problem?)
 
Could anyone give me some exact links to get the Cat species? and also the high/house fences?
Its very tricky to find them when they are all in foriegn langauges ;)

Im having a really strange problem with the Addax, i sucsessfully downloaded it on another computer but dont seem to be able too on my own computer, it keeps telling me zoo tycoon isnt installed.
 
ZooMania, I have the exact same problem.
Markun, I can't find the Coati on zootycoon.nl- where is it?
