You will find the Malayan Tapir here: ZT2 - Animales : El Racó del Ferrocarril

Here is another malayan tapir in a pack with a Clouded Leopard: Zoo Tycoon Center - A Resource for the Zoo Tycoon Series. Just go to downloads, and under Zoo Tycoon 2 downloads click on packs and you'll see it there.

The Mountain Tapir comes in this pack: https://sites.google.com/site/penguinpeak/acapella

I found all this downloads thanks to Markun!

I am still struggling putting them on zoo tycoon is there a specific folder you have to put them in within the Zoo Tycoon Folder or just in the Zoo Tycoon Folder?

the files can be in the main Zoo Tycoon 2 folder (c: > Program files > Microsoft Games > Zoo Tycoon 2) but they need to be in the z2f file format so you may have to extract exe or z2f files from a zip folder or run any exe files

(hope you're able to understand that)

okay so i then extract them into the Zoo Tycoon Folder?
and do i have to put anything on the end of any other the downloads like .z2f?
Sorry its hard for me to understand!

I need help downloading the Glass Aviary! I've put it in the Zoo Tycoon 2 folder, but nothing's happening!

OK. I go to Zeta-Designs website. I find 'Small glass aviary (Beta)' in 'Special' an click Download. It takes roughly 30 seconds to download. It is a html file...

What do I do now?

Working on a chain of Zoos, which I call HGAPs (Harry Gibbins' Animal Parks) and I will create a Flickr account to put them on.

HGAP Stretton:
Exhibit 1: Aldabra Giant Tortoise.
Exhibit 2: Koalas and Laughing Kookaburras

I'm thinking of what to do for exhibit three... any ideas (I've got loads of downloaded animals now, so put them too)

if you have AA, a great mix is Meerkats+Aadvarks and Chimps+Okapis. Do a savannah enclosure, just all the herbivores of the savannah and stick a jeep tour thru it! XD

I've made two more exhibits, for Timber Wolves and Eastern Cougars.

I'm probably gonna go for another small mammal or some kind of lizard next, like Asian Short-Clawed Otters, Red Pandas, or Monitors.

Right, unfortunately I kinda lost control of that Zoo, and because I'm not that good at sorting the guests happiness, I'm going to build a number of private collections. Move of them will have 5 or 6 exhibits, with one of them being a 'spotlight exhibit' with other smaller exhibits surrounding it.

e.g. An Andes park with Spectacled Bears as the 'Spotlight Exhibit' and surrounding exhibits with Mountain Tapir, Vicuna, Guanaco, Andean Goose and Andean Flamingos.

And does anyone know where I can get a good Giant Anteater?

Okay, I've got some ideas for South America:

Andes Park:
Exhibit 1: Mountain Tapir
Exhibit 2: Andean Flamingo and Chilean Flamingo
Exhibit 3: Spectacled Bear and Grison (Spotlight Exhibit)
Exhibit 4: Guanaco and Vicuna
Exhibit 5: Andean Goose

Amazon Park:
Exhibit 1: Bush Dogs
Exhibit 2: Brocket Deer and Pudu
Exhibit 3: Jaguarondi
Exhibit 4: Giant River Otter
Exhibit 5: Baird's Tapir and Capybara
Exhibit 6: Jaguar (Spotlight Exhibit)
Exhibit 7: Mountain Paca and Cotton Top Tamarin
Exhibit 8: Brazilian Tapir and Southern Tamandua

I'd like to take some of the exhibits from the Amazon Zoo and put them in a 'South American Zoo', which would also include a mixed exhibit with Greater Rhea and Giant Anteater (Hopefully).

Next:
Africa

Right, I now have South American Zoos sorted.

Exhibit 2: Giant River Otter and Brazilian Tapir
Exhibit 3: Green Iguana
Exhibit 4: Jaguar (Spotlight Exhibit)
