Zoo Tycoon zoo tycoon 3 is now a reallity

Thanks for the links. Overall the game appears to be quite good, and I like the look of being able to walk around the zoo like a visitor

this is a mistake on Microsoft's part because zoo tycoon is not the kind of game that is suitable for playing on the Xbox.

Surprised no gorillas!

I am not a gamer but could be convinced if they had gorillas.

I think all the subspecies make this a bit of a joke to be honest, especially all the giraffes and chimpanzees. I know people on here may be into all their subspecies but I think the average person who would buy this game would want to have a gorilla instead of 5 different types of chimp, or a zebra instead of 9 different giraffes.

If this is a genuine list, then I'm a little disappointed and has put me off buying it, for now at least.

It actually seems like quite a good game. I would have liked a better spread of animals, but most of the bonus/repetitive taxa are only available on xbox one anyway. The controls are easy to get used to, but there's a lot less flexibility in design of the zoo or enclosures this time round. I guess the first person parts appeal mostly to younger players, but they seem ok for the time being and they're a nice touch with the xbox's kinect.
Better than my low expectations - so I'm glad this still feels like a reincarnation of one of my favourite games.

I've seen the game, and the graphics look AMAZING. however, I'm starting to think that there's hardly any strategy left anymore. I mean, the exhibits are pre-built, this game feels more like an RPG than a sandbox game. I miss the old Zoo Tycoon where you could design your own exhibits. Plus, if you are playing it at a casual level, why would you want TONS of sub-species? If Microsoft really wants to make a professional game, they should put it on PC, have the sub-species, add customisable exhibits back, add a few more animals and it should work out pretty well.
