Don´t think it was mentioned earlier. But the former lion space in the carnivore house will be adapted for sun bears. The zoo´s offspring - 3 years old male sun bear will be moved there. And the zoo is now searching for a young female for him, to create a second breeding pair.

Considering the lack of young female sun bears in Europe, America or Australia, this would mean an import from SE Asia, I guess?

I remember from before that Usti Zoo maintained more than a few gibbons..., Zootierliste cites 3.3 in 2023. Before the April 2024 birth last was one in June 2021)? I am guessing that the Usti Zoo currently maintains just one breeding pair (Samun and Beauty) Nomascus leucogenys ATM?

How large, where exactly located and what footprint/plan does the new exhibit have? Do they have multiple exhibits in this Gibbon Forest?

I still remember that Zoo Usti held a breeding group. I do wonder how they actually went out of them for a while ...??? Glad they are back now, if only a bachelor male addax group...!!!!
 
Arrival of 1.0 Hartmann's Zebra , while 3 other individuals have left the park to another European zoo.
Zoo Ústí nad Labem on Instagram: "Proběhla u nás významná chovatelská výměna: do stáda zeber Hartmannové jsme přivítali nového chovného samce, zatímco tři odrostlá mláďata zeber z našeho chovu zamířila do jiné evropské zoo. Tam by měla vytvořit novou samčí skupinu, což je u tohoto druhu vždy trochu výzva – samci spolu ne vždy snadno vycházejí. Nakládka a transport tří zeber zároveň rozhodně není každodenní záležitost, a tak patří obrovský dík všem našim zaměstnancům, kteří akci zvládli perfektně A ještě jedna zajímavost: tahle výměna byla už 30. transportem zvířat v letošním roce! 14 transportů k nám dorazilo 17 jsme vyslali do jiných zoo Díky podobným výměnám pomáháme udržovat zdravé a silné populace ohrožených druhů po celé Evropě "

Anyone has some more actual info? Are they on show or off show or something happened with them?

And on the website, you can find short resume from september supervisory board meeting. It approves release of funds for some project on next year - aside of some "off show stuff" it is revitalisation of nilgau paddock, adjustments in 1st floor of exotarium pavillon and demolition of old monkey house.
(zoo stated on its facebook recently that its planning to finnish new (african) monkey house, along with "Kukang" and "Night Madagascar" exhibits by 2028)
Plans for future enlargements and "low cost" elephant house (mentioned in generel) were cancelled (municipality has other plans with that ground)
