1.0 Hartmans zebra, born on 1.June, parents are Denda and Uliša
0.1 Somali wild ass, born 16.June, parents Achmed und Georgina
0.0.3 wrinckled hornbills, they are still inside the nest box

Arrivals:
from Prague came two tabasco turtles, two giant asian pond turtles, a cuban leguan, 1.0 malaian tiger Kawi, 0.1 asian lion Aiša, old sloth, two red varis and birds.
From Dvur Kralove came cattle egrets, versicolor teals and a hottentot teal.
3 young Gila monsters came from a Czech private breeder.

I suppose the Praha animals are on short term loan out untill exhibits are cleaned up and able to receive animals back in the lower Praha Zoo?

New offspring in the house
The zoo has twin pygmy marmoset youngters in their tropical house.
Clouded leopard pair has fresh twins as well.
And the new "retirement exhibit", inhabited by two old female sloths and a 22-years-old white-faced saki, got unexpectedly ritcher by a sloth baby. The zoo received two adult wild-caught sloths in 1999 and called them Mama and Tata. Between 2001 and 2011, they had 8 youngs and all but the last survived and have been sent to other zoos. The last young was week and died soon and in 2012, she had a fake pregnancy. The zoo deemed Mama as getting old and retired her into a separate exhibit, that she shares with another sloth, more then 30 years old female that was evacuated in June from Prague zoo and an old saki. But Mama was already pregnant again and now she can be seen with a baby on her belly.

The zoo received Horácio and Miriam from Plzeň zoo. He is a young Prehensile-tailed porcupine (Coendou prehensilis), she is a young Bolivian night monkey (Aotus azarae boliviensis). They were born in a mixed exhibit and now in Ústí they stay together in one room in the exotárium house too.
The newest litter of clouded leopards contains 4 cubs. They are one month old and still in the box with mother.

I though Vienna held Northern Luzon Cloud Rat? Or do/did they have Southerns off show somewhere in addition?

I am surprised there are still chicks being hatched in Ústí. Because their pair is very productive for many years now. It must be heavily overrepresented genetically in european zoo population.
