Heya just wondering wether anyone else is looking for zoo vacancies and if they know of any, i know that colchester, edinbrugh and london are advertising.

Just look on the BIAZA vacancies page or here Zoo Jobs
Failing that, send CV's out :p

I am :p
They do always seem to want a drivers licence, especially in bigger zoos.

I'm another wannabe-keeper. I had an interview with Marwell recently, but that's about it really. Everybody wants experience or a driving license, neither of which I have, lol.

Kool what vacancy was at marwell? you must have some experience to get an interview. It is very annoying about the driving thing its just expensive!

But it's really necessary in a lot of zoos, especially the larger ones. It's a vicious cycle lol.

Indeed just gotta keep trying am applying at edinbrugh, colchester and london , i have had interviews at colchester and edinbrugh before wonder if will work for or against me.

Wow you've been around lol. That shows dedication I guess ;)

The vacancy was reptile keeper. It was my first job interview ever, lol. I'm having driving lessons at the moment, I'm hoping to be driving by Christmas.

When you do apply for the job at Edinburgh, make sure you spell Edinburgh correctly as it can be little details like that which make all the difference to your application being noticed. Other than that be yourself and if you're serious about working with animals it will be noticed. And good luck!
