Toronto Zoo Zoo visit

In July and August this year I shall be visiting Toronto and Calgary and I will be going to both Zoos. I am wondering if 1 day is enough to see Toronto Zoo as it looks so big. Also if anyone lives in the area would they like to meet up with myself and show me their home zoo.

I spent a good 7 hours at the Toronto Zoo last summer (see the long review on the Snowleopard's Epic Road Trip thread) and I've also been to the Calgary Zoo twice in my life. Toronto has over 5,000 animals and is enormous, but it can be done in a day as long as you don't spend too long at each exhibit, while Calgary is more of a 5-6 hour visit but it still has some quality enclosures worth checking out twice. There are many Torontonians on this site and hopefully someone will volunteer to meet up with you!
