Zoobat Collections (N. America)

The "current" list is arranged by exhibit or area, and there is a section he has titled "along the way" for random enclosures. The "former" list is also arranged by exhibit, including the Small Mammal House, but also has an "along the way" list which doesn't really make sense in the context of the "current" list's arrangement - so I think he might have been using that part for former species he didn't know where to place.

That's what I took it as for the former list, animals that were kept but no source mentioned their location within the zoo, or their exhibit no longer exists.

The Leptonycteris yerbabuenae at Fort Worth has now passed, as have the pallid bats. That should mean that both species are now absent from US collections, though the L. yerbabuenae should still be held in Mexico.

Curious to see what goes in there now, as I don't have them hold another species currently.

If the long-nosed bat and the pallid bats are gone, does that leave that exhibit empty at present?

I just asked RatioTile (who supplied the information) if they are planning on acquiring any more bats, as I don't have them down for another species. Not sure yet what's going on with the exhibit.

Living Treasures Moraine and Gulf Breeze Zoo have Egyptian Fruit Bat.

Maritime Aquarium holds Seba's now.

Moody Gardens had Vampire Bats at least in 2016, working on confirming if they're still present.

I was at Ledgeview Nature Center today, a nature preserve not too far from me that I hadn't been to in years. I as surprised to see a bat exhibit in the nature center! According to the signs it held native bats, but it never specified which species. It was super dark, so I couldn't find any bats in the exhibit to see for myself. I would guess they probably keep Big Brown, as it is the most common bat species in the area, but that is a total guess.

Also, this is one of the best small nature centers I've ever seen.

I believe the aquarium no longer has them, but not 100% certain on that.

In which city is this located?
