Closed Zoochat APP

Hi Sim,

I am sure you would have thought about a zoochat app, wondering if u will make one?

I think people may even pay maybe $5.00 for it?

Searching zoochat on my iPhone between appointments would be so much easier!
 
I definitely would. My fingers are too fat and I end up pressing every link but the one I want :) A more streamlined app would make things a lot easier.
 
I would love to do that - but unfortunately it's pretty low on my priority list right now.

I do plan on redesigning/rebuilding the site some time early next year and part of that exercise will be to make it much more mobile-friendly.

Once I've finished that exercise, I might have time to think about designing an app for ZooChat that adds more than just the ability to browse the forums.

I had a Samsung Galaxy Micro S2 and I had absolutely no problem using the site but I've heard from others that signing in on certain smart phones is nigh on impossible.
I'm due an iPhone soon and wondered if I'll be able to log in with that?

Interesting as l think the APP world is pushing the boundaries of technology, I am curious as to what u might include.

I can imagine, using the app to!

Buy a ticket to the zoo as l travel towards it then the zoo having a designated entry where they scan my phone for proof of payment.

Make a donation to a cause that is highlighted in a thread.

Take a photo of an animal and the app tell me what it is and maybe where in the wild l coud see it or what zoos keep it.

Locate other zoochatters while at a zoo.

Keep track of zoos l have visited and animals l have seen. Bird watchers must already have something like this l am sure.

Receive updates when zoos have breeding success or open new exhibits.

Other ideas?
