142. Linnet

It is not going that fast anymore, being very busy with university, so less time to go outside. But in 5 weeks I will depart to Bulgaria, so that will yield over 50 new bird species at least 10 mammals and many more :)

Like Lintworm (and I presume everyone else) my list is also going slowly now. But will increase dramatically when I go overseas in August.
any hints on destination? I also will be overseas in August (no surprises, in Asia).

A hint? Yes - I'm planning on photographing Shoebills.

:p

bah, I've been to Frankfurt already :p

I do have a plan to go to the other place with shoebills but it won't be for several years, probably with my zimmer frame by then! I shall look forward to your trip report!!

Hmmm..... I was just thinking, if anyone else wanted to join me it would be the ZooChat Get-together to beat all other ZooChat Get-togethers!

I'll say. The English lot would be all like "hey we just had a get-together at Chester Zoo." And we would (casually, obviously) say "that's nice, we had a Zoochat get-together at Mabamba Swamp. Damn shoebills kept getting in all the group photos!"

1.) California scrub jay (Aphelocoma californica)
2.) California gull (Larus californicus)
3.) American Herring Gull (Larus argentatus)
4.) Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos)

6.) Pelagic Cormorant (Phalacrocorax pelagicus)
7.) Brandt's Cormorant (Phalacrocorax penicillatus)
8.) Double-crested Cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus)
9.) Snowy Egret (Egretta thula)

13.) Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)
14.) Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)

Very interesting, but I know if a couple of users from the UK posted what they had seen in the Uk,this year those places would change a fair bit!

I can only post the data that I have at hand. I'm sure these will change in the future.
