I've got a bit behind, necessitating a slightly more complicated post than usual. Feel free to read it more than once if it helps.


Firstly, a few additions from a lunchtime walk near work on one of our recent unseasonably warm days:

Birds:
126. Eurasian Sparrowhawk - Accipiter nisus

Invertebrates:
5. Buff-tailed Bumblebee - Bombus terrestris
6. Small Tortoiseshell - Aglais urticae



Next, some additions from a day out in the Forest of Dean on Saturday. We missed a few of the specialties, like Wild Boar and Goshawk, but nevertheless a very enjoyable day and some great sightings. A fair bit of anuran activity, as well.
