The Pallid swift.
So now the list counts only 53 species )but the situation will change soon,I promise!)
Also,a mammal (the Wood mouse) maybe is going to be replaced with House mouse (I saw them in May in the exhibits of the Nocturnal house in London Zoo).

Fishes

63.
Epinephelus costae (a very interesting animal!)

Invertebrates

45. Thaumetopoea pityocampa

46. Clibanarius erythropus

Spent Sunday and Monday on a slightly random tour of southern England with my dad, with the main targets being butterflies in the Chilterns and his first visit to Arne in Dorset.

In addition to the below assorted additions, I finally got a British reptile on the board for this year. The good news was it was a species I've never before seen in the UK, and only twice before overseas. The bad news is that both those two times overseas were in Poland earlier this year, so the Sand Lizard of Arne does not actually affect my Big Year total. New subspecies though..!

So, due to another misidentification (yes I'm very bad at identifying animals),also the Corn bunting is cancelled by the bird list (54 species).
Please forgive me.
Fortunately, early I'm going to visit a natural reserve in Sicily where I can add to my list a lot of new animals (I think ten or more, flamingoes are almost sure), so my checklists (which is very mediocre for now) will be enlarged.

Forgot another mammal seen before the Red deer (so that one should be 5th and the following 4th). Along with that I've finally got most (if not all) the lizards seen at El Escorial identified adding me a few neat species!

20/07/2019 (Soto de las Juntas, Parque Regional del Sureste, Spain)
MAMMALS:
5 - European rabbit, Oryctolagus cuniculus

21/07/2019 (Cañada Real Open Centre, El Escorial, Spain)
HERPS:
6 - Guadarrama wall lizard, Podarcis guadarramae
7 - Algerian psammodromus, Psammodromus algirus
8 - Ocellated lizard, Timon lepidus

My first additions since coming from Spain were seen yesterday and they got quite the (partially undeserved, in my opinion) hate from the neighbourhood.

Rats tend to elude me for some reason so I was quite happy to see these two hours from each other, making for a great comparison!

15/08/2019 (L'Irak Bouargane, Agadir, Morocco)
MAMMALS:
6 - Black rat, Rattus rattus

7 - Brown rat, Rattus norvegicus
