These birds were seen around my house,the town where I live and in a little trip.Thanks! Well,I have some birds unidentified but these are the ones I got:

Don't agree with this identification. There are numerous ornithologists who have looked at this bird and some suspect it's a mutant or a hybrid, although it's still disputed at this stage. The main feature that is totally wrong for South African Shelduck is the darkness and the density/type of vermiculation on the flanks and back (which you can even see, though not clearly, in the attached image). I would argue that given the low probability of a SA Shelduck making it to Australia with the Indian Ocean to cross and with none in captivity, you have to be suspicious and skeptical especially when the bird has some notable plumage features that aren't quite right. I'm yet to see a full report where someone experienced with South African Shelduck has made a thorough assessment of the identification, as opposed to an overnight reply.Update on the shelduck situation
