ZooChat Big Year 2020

Another great day of birding near Doel! It's always good to get a dusky warbler, because even though they're becoming more and more regular in Belgium (this is the 5th one I've managed to connect with over the past 2,5 years) they're still definitely very rare birds. Uncharacteristically of this species it actually gave some great views!

iin other news i finely counted how long my wild mammal lifer list is it ende on 104 a lot more then i thot i wood be and i have started to do the same to birds

Update from the last few weeks, a mix of residents, early migrants and late winter visitors. Spring has seemingly started very early this year, with lots of bird song everywhere.

Yep. Arrived this morning, flying out again tomorrow morning. Hopefully will get some Lifers in the next few days.

I've seen the sparrows around Sydney in passing, but haven't bothered to report them until today when I saw them while birding. The same goes for the Pelicans.

Chickens aren't established there, so no.
 
The only places in US chickens would count would be in Hawaii, Southern Florida, Lincoln, CA, or the grounds of Sam Houston State University. There are introduced wild-type Red Junglefowl in Hawaii and Fitzgerald, Georgia.
