110. Swamp Harrier (Circus approximans)

Today I went on an unsuccessful search for some of the last wild Emus in Sydney. I have been told that they live in the Wianamatta Regional Park in Jordan Springs. Despite not finding any emus, I managed to find a yeartick and a lovely unexpected lifer!

Collating a few additions from recent days out, thanks to @WalkingAgnatha for the Pigeon ID. Processing photos confirmed I'd caught a decent shot of a Little Ringed Plover on a previous trip and Lakenheath delivered lovely views of a Cuckoo. A day at YWP delivered lots of rabbits in reach of the lens, including a small colony living dangerously in one of the Polar Bear enclosures.

Also I've removed Neotropic Cormorant from my list. Upon a re-review, the reviewer thought it was probably just an unusually small Double-crested Cormorant. There is an actual Neotropic Cormorant in that area that has been seen by others, so maybe it will be back on my list again soon.

A few new additions from a recent trip to RSPB Lakenheath Fen as Dragon and Damsel fly season begins and a couple of things ended up in the lens I have never seen let alone photographed before! There's an abundance of nettles and plants with a path in between on the way up to the end of the reserve with an array of insectlife. A great place to spend a bit of time to see what was flying and crawling about.
