I should also be making a start this week. ;) Last year I clocked up 68 miscellaneous species without trying, let's see if I can better that this year. :)

No armadillo or chinchilla? Or you already got both?
Chinchilla were no shows, and didn't even know they had Armadillo... what species do they have?

Three-banded, they're in the barn with the tayra housing and caiman enclosure, next to a chinchilla exhibit. ;)
Oh yes, a no show again... Already seen them this year though.:)

Starting off strong with -

They have captive grey squirrel? That's interesting... is there something special about them?

We only saw one - an albino. They did have normal ones signed too but no sign of any.

They aren’t the only invasives/introduced species they exhibit mind you - European eagle owl, European rabbit, fallow deer, muntjac, American mink (worryingly close to their water vole enclosure), terrapin and edible dormouse...

26. Common spotted cuscus (Spilocuscus maculatus)
27. Lyle's flying fox (Pteropus lylei)

This visit also made me realise that I listed the porcupines at ARTIS (#5) as H. africaeaustralis instead of H. indica, which they actually are. That's what I get for blindly copying names from Zootierliste.

I didn't realize that Domestic Rabbit and Guinea Pig counted? I'll add those next time I come to update my list.

Told you rabbits were good! ;) You already have wild guinea pigs, pretty sure domestics are the same species, well at least for the challenge. :)
