We had one in the rhino paddock then one next door in the ostrich paddock. Cliff spotted the first, I got the second :)

Already had Reeve's muntjac at Hoo Zoo so wasn't too fussed, but thought I'd easily spot one here anyway as they're (allegedly :p) more common than the water deer. During our visit the penguins and giraffes were two of the busier areas so that might have explained a certain lack of muntjac-tivity!*

No wallabies either, but a few mara in weird places! :D

Think that's it, definitely saw the rest. Didn't see the Reindeer, Blackbuck or Muntjac, made sure we saw everything else. Didn't realise they still had the Pzrewalski's Horses so they were a very pleasant surprise. Also didn't think we'd see the water deer but we spotted two in a matter of seconds towards the end of the day.

3 bloody zoos today and these were the only 3 I managed to pick up... To be fair, I did only miss out on Red River Hogs so I can't complain too much. :)
 
Finally I had my first post-third lockdown (:confused:) zoo visit to Zie-ZOO, so I can finally compete in this challenge! Not a lot of species, but at least a few nice ones I'm unlikely to pick up elsewhere!

I had a pretty good run, I think I only missed three eligible encounters (Nilgai, Goitered Gazelle and Reticulated Giraffe, though I'm not sure the last one is even visible outside the resort). A quick look at the options says that the two zoos that I most likely visit are the best candidates for more ticks: Burgers and Blijdorp with ten and eleven tick respectively (though two overlap) if I'm not mistaken. After that, I don't think any Dutch zoo can give me double numbers anymore!
